Educational Testing
Educational testing (also known as educational evaluation, learning evaluation, academic evaluation, dyslexia evaluation) reveals an individual's learning characteristics and academic skills. In particular, it indicates how he or she is performing relative to their peers in the same age or grade level. Ultimately, it (along with other testing) can help determine if there is a specific learning disability, dyslexia, reading disorder, math disorder, writing disorder, etc.
Areas assessed can include, but are not limited to: basic reading skills, reading comprehension, phonological awareness, sight word reading, decoding, reading fluency, basic arithmetic, math problem solving, math fluency, written expression, spelling, combining sentences, punctuation, essay writing, oral expression, receptive and expressive vocabulary, listening comprehension, and much more!
Our educational testing are comprehensive evaluations will address the reason for referral and identify what, if any, issues are creating obstacles and determine the best remediation and interventions to address it in school, at home, and in the community.
